Rooji Jinan is a currently a PhD student at Robert Bosch Centre for Cyberphysical systems, IISc, Bengaluru. She received her B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication in 2012 and M.Tech. in Communication Engineering & Signal Processing in 2015 from Calicut University, Kerala. She worked as Assistant Professor at Christ College of Engineering (affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University), Kerala during 2016-17.
