Ananta Kant Rai
Ananta is a PhD student in the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering since Feb. 2021. Prior to this, she worked at Jio Platforms Limited (July 2019 – Feb 2021). She received her undergraduate degree from NIT Uttarakhand in ECE in 2019. She works on network design for resilient networked control systems.

Akif Khan
Akif is a PhD student in the Department of Cyber Physical Systems since August 2023. His research interests are in formulation and detection of attacks on cyber physical systems using reinforcement learning methods. Prior to this. he completed his master's from Indian Institute of Science in Computational and Data Science. During his free time, he likes to read fantasy books.

Rahul N R
Rahul is a M.Tech. (Research) student in the department of Electrical Communication Engineering since Aug. 2021. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Engineer at Robert Bosch (RBEI) from 2018 to 2021. He received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from PES University, Electronic City Campus, Bangalore in 2018. His research interests include transfer learning in multi-armed bandits and data-driven control.

Prashanth S
Prashanth is a M.Tech. student in the department of Electrical Communication Engineering since Aug. 2022. He received his B.E. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Govt Sri Krishnarajendra Silver Jubilee Technological Institute (SKSJTI) Bengaluru in 2020. He spent two and four months, respectively, as a research intern at Lekha Wireless Solutions and Autoyos Pvt. Ltd. His broad areas of interest in research include wireless communication technology, smart grids, and analog IC design. He enjoys playing cricket in his spare time.

Alvin P Cheriyan
Alvin is an M.Tech. student in Robotics and Autonomous Systems at the Robert Bosch Center for Cyber-Physical Systems since Aug. 2022. He received his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from BMS College of Engineering in 2018. He is broadly interested in control applications using learning-based methods, perception and navigation and other intersections. He worked with Quest Global as a design engineer before joining IISc.

Sudheendra R
Sudheendra R. is a M.Tech. student in Robotics and Autonomous Systems at the Robert Bosch Center for Cyber-Physical Systems, IISc, Bengaluru since Aug. 2022. He completed his B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram in 2017. After his Bachelor’s, he worked at ISRO Propulsion Complex as a scientist in a test facility for semi-cryogenic engines and stages. His current research interest broadly include autonomous and intelligent systems. Besides academic interests, he is also an avid follower of Formula 1 and professional CS:GO.

Laxmikant Pai Angle
Laxmikant is a M.Tech. student in Robotics and Autonomous Systems at the Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber-Physical Systems since Aug. 2022. He received his BTech from NIT Goa in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) in 2022. He is currently working on identification of various vulnerabilities in Smart Grid and developing mechanisms to measure their severity. He enjoys playing chess during free time.

Swarnadip Saha
Swarnadip is a M.Tech. student in Robotics and Autonomous Systems at the Robert Bosch Center for Cyber-Physical Systems since Aug. 2023. He received his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University in 2023. His broad research interest are in mathematical control theory, optimization techniques, security and privacy of networked and distributed control systems, and reinforcement learning. He enjoys reading books on variety of topics and listening to music during leisure time.

Saksham Bhutani
Saksham is a Pre-doctoral fellow supported by the Kotak IISc AI–ML Centre (KIAC) since October 2023. He completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore in 2023. During his bachelor's, he worked on deep learning-based decision-making models for autonomous vehicles in VIT’s Automotive Research Centre. He completed his bachelor's thesis at the Biomedical and Health Technology Group at ETH Zürich. He is currently working on fault detection and tolerance in autonomous and intelligent systems. Saksham enjoys exploring local culture and monuments through the lens of his drone.
