Ananta Kant Rai
Ananta is a PhD student in the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering since Feb. 2021. Prior to this, she worked at Jio Platforms Limited (July 2019 – Feb 2021). She received her undergraduate degree from NIT Uttarakhand in ECE in 2019. She is currently working on network design for resilient networked control systems.

Varkey M John
Varkey is a M.Tech. (Research) student in the department of Electrical Communication Engineering since Aug. 2020. Prior to joining IISc, he worked for 3 years as a cyber-security consultant at Ernst and Young, Bangalore, and for 1 year as an intern at Texas Instruments, Bangalore. He obtained his undergraduate degree from BITS Pilani – Goa Campus, where he received a dual degree of B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M.Sc. in Economics in 2017. His research interest is in the field of security and privacy for cyber-physical systems. During his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar and reading books.

Rahul N R
Rahul is a M.Tech. (Research) student in the department of Electrical Communication Engineering since Aug. 2021. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Engineer at Robert Bosch (RBEI) from 2018 to 2021. He received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from PES University, Electronic City Campus, Bangalore in 2018. His research interests include data-driven and learning-based control.

Sreejeet Maity
Sreejeet is a M.Tech. student in Robotics and Autonomous Systems at the Robert Bosch Center for Cyber-Physical Systems since Aug. 2021. He received his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University in 2021. His broad research interest are in mathematical control theory, machine learning methods in security, privacy of networked and distributed control systems, and robotics. He is currently working as a research intern in MARMot Laboratory at National University of Singapore where he is developing a hybrid switching controller for a hexapod robot. He is a bibliophile, a star-gazer, and he enjoys cooking while listening to classical piano pieces.
